This week Marion is joining us with the interesting theme of ASEMIC WRITING! I’ve looked on Google and the offical explaination for asemic writing is ‘Asemic writing is a wordless open semantic form of writing. The word asemic /eɪˈsiːmɪk/ means “having no specific semantic content”, or “without the smallest unit of meaning”. … It may be compared to illegible writing or writing for its own sake, instead of writing to produce verbal context.’
Here is Marion’s samples to give us some inspiration!
Remember to keep you postcard to 6×4 in size, but any and all mediums are welcome as usual! If you’re struggling with the theme, the artist Dina Wakley produces a lot of artwork based around Asemic Writing, and has even produced stamps with it on!
This week Rosie is joining us with the theme of FOREST! You can pick so many magical images of the worlds woods, froests and trees or even use an illustration! Here is Rosie’s sample to inspire us, Rosie made two sample’s this week, both equally gorgeous!
